Unsupported Versions of Windows 10

Support for version 1909 of Windows 10 ended in May 2021, creating security and compatibility concerns. Make sure you check whether your Windows software needs updating.

If you are running a version of Windows 10 that is version 1909 or older, your software is no longer supported.  This means that Microsoft will not provide security and feature updates. Any machines still running this operating system will be vulnerable to hackers and potential security breaches.

Up-to-date software and hardware is less prone to failure, more resistant to cyberattacks and can improve productivity. Staying on top of updates not only introduces new features but protects your computing environment from viruses and malware.

End of Support for Windows 10 November 2019 Update

Support for version 1909 of Windows 10 (also referred to as the November 2019 Update) ended in May 2021. We strongly urge all businesses to check the version of their Windows software. The upgrade software is free and will ensure your business is protected from security concerns and compatibility issues.

The dangers of running unsupported software include:

  • Security concerns: heightened vulnerability to security breaches.
  • Compatibility issues: increased likelihood of software incompatibilities which mean you are unable to upgrade to the latest products.
  • Data compliance: greater risk of data breaches and potentially hefty fines, particularly in regulated industries.
  • Performance issues: higher operating costs with poorer performance and reliability.
