- Windows XP: This reached end of life over 12 months ago, and is not compatible with any software released after 2013. This means that Windows XP is an obsolete operating system.
- Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007: These two versions of Microsoft Office will be incompatible with Windows 10. This means that if you upgrade your operating system to Windows 10, please make sure that you also have a recent Microsoft Office version in place.
- Internet Explorer 11: This will be the only version of IE to be supported from January 2016. If older versions of IE are in use at your site, then they will no longer be updated with security updates.
- Windows 10: This is currently used by about 10% of all Windows users across the globe, and the rate of adoption is increasing as this version of Operating Software is now more readily accepted than when first released in July 2015. One factor that will help Microsoft to achieve a rapid migration to Windows 10 is that Windows 7 will reach end of support in January 2020. Our advice is to take advantage of the free upgrade offer, and migrate to Windows 10 before July 2016!
